If you’ve been shopping in Provisions the last two weeks, you would be excused for thinking “is this place run by a clown?”  I am really sorry for all the time you’ve had to wait in line due to our point of sale system.*  The system is stable now and we have a good team to help us keep it running.  And we hope to make checkout faster when we move.

When asked what my job is at The Greene Grape, I often answer “giving my employees the tools they need to get their jobs done.”  For the past two weeks the employees of Provisions and the back office staff have not had the tools they need to get the job done and I want to apologize to them as well.  They have really shown grace under pressure.

As a token of our appreciation for your patience, they’ve even baked blondies and brownies, which they’re giving out free at the store!

Thank you again for supporting us by choosing to shop in our store.  We would not exist without you.
